When conducting an analysis of road and pedestrian transitions found on the site, a conclusion is reached on a meeting point at the intersection of these routes. As a consequence of the exterior space, a public square is proposed that serves as the main access to the Nautical Club.
As a design strategy, a project integrated into the context is proposed, not only in terms of the typological relationship of the materials but also the use of the topography of the site that is descending towards the Costa Brava of Catalonia. The existing walls that are used as breakwaters are continued and integrated into the project to generate a spatial division, achieving a relationship between volume and site.
